hi ive just joined,my wife and i watch mh most weeks and i am undecided on the subject of ghost and even more undecided about mhs medium but would like to share two experiences i have had over the years.the first was when i was around ten years old and lived in
norfolk in a then village called Long stratton. this was in the early 70s. at that time there used to be a small pond on the wacton rd a couple of hundred yards fm the village this was surrounded by corn fields (its a housing estate now). One summers day i was fishing alone on the pond when i became aware of the roar of aircraft engines i turned around to observe around 30 four engined bombers flyinf fairley low heading in a north south direction,as they passed overhead the noise from the engines was deafening. i ran home in great excitement but was stunned to find that nobody
else had seen the planes or heard them. The only four engined aircraft that the Raf flew was the avro shackleton,a derivative of the lancaster but i knew what i had seen was american b24 liberators, i could even see the star on the side of the aircraft. This part of east anglia is littered with ww2 airfields from where b24s and b17s operated. had i stepped back in time or
had i dreamt it i'll never know.
The second experience i had was around twenty years later, unfortunatley 2 years prior a close friend had been killed in an accident. i was working late on a car in the garage at work when out of no where i heard his voice. whith a particular greeting he had for me. i looked around the garage but there was nobody there, and i dont think anybody who worked there then would have known this phrase that he was fond of.
Despite these two experiences i still dont know what to think the only common factor was that on both occassions i was deeply intent on what i was doing at the time. what does not help me believe is that i have no fear of the dark,i live next to a grave yard which is next to a saxon grave yard and a large Roman site and have never heard or seen a thing which could be deemed paranormal. sorry to bore you.
