I was once walking down a road late one night, when a cat suddenly ran out in front of a passing car. The car screeched to a halt and there was an audible thud, but when I went to see if there was anything I could do for the animal it was gone? The driver checked under the car and even under the hood to see if it had somehow been slung up, but nothing! The driver swore he’d hit it because it ran straight out and he couldn’t stop in time and both he and I heard the impact, but there was no sign of the cat, it hadn’t been thrown anywhere because it was a built up area and there were walls at either side of the road. The cat had just vanished into thin air?? It must have used one of its nine lives! Meg

my dad has things like this happen often and it gives him the willies. quite a few times he has been driving along and someone has stepped out into the road and hes hit them, but when he's got out to check no one is there. this happens when my mum is with him too and they have been very shaken by it all. the last one was what they described as a highway man type dress. he was in the road on a blind bend so they couldn't stop in time , they pulled up searched the road the side of it but no one was there.
