Do you believe that mediums can speak to those who have passed over?
Have you ever been to one? - Did what they tell you come true, make sense or was it all rubbish!
Let us know what you think!!

I have an open mind about mediums....The storey above makes me think about them having powers but, when you see them on TV thats the part that gets me .....you never know they could be told the things they say. Im still not sure though

Yes that is a good story spooky!
I do have an open mind about mediums - I think there are a lot of fakes out there who cash in on other peoples sorrow and that is one thing I cannot abide!
But there seem to be those with a genuine gift! I have heard many stories from normal everyday people who go to private readings and come away saying they were told things that the medium couldn't possibly know! To me this is more interesting because they can't look up someone they (the medium) haven't met before - someone who isn't a celebrity etc.
I don't know if it's cold reading that gives this impression - but a friend of mine went to one and he was a confirmed skeptic. He came away questioning how they could get so many things right? He told me that when he went to see the medium he wanted her to tell him things - but he wouldn't say if they were right or wrong until the end of the reading. He thought this way she couldn't just 'feed off' what he was saying or his reaction. When the reading was finished he told the medium that she must have some sort of gift because most of what she said was right!
I have to say that it still bugs him to this day that he can't find any explanation of how it was done!
It makes you think though!

Yes I do believe in the power of mediums, though I think that there are a lot of people who try to pretend they can communicate with spirit. If you really want a reading or experience you have to go to a Spiritualist church. Many year ago I went and first my grandmother came through and what the medium told me she just couldn't have known, I mean I'd never met the woman before in my life. My mother came through the next time and relaid to me via the medium that I was still tipping the water out of the saucepans the wrong way, now I mean who else besides my mother and I could have possibly know that.

i defo believe i got an appointment to see a medium a few years back and she is really good there is a years waiting list to see her. i have been twice to see her and on both occasions a close friend of mine who passed over is there waiting to say hello . the medium tells me about my relations who are in the room with me and then my dad comes through with information only i could no about , But there is a downside to it my grandma wasnt well at the time she had cancer but the news from the hospital was it looked treatable,But the medium told me there is a lady who is ill around you and we dont wont her to suffer she also told me my grandad who had passed a few years before was waiting to take her .This was the worst thing ever to hear .especially when everyone was so upbeat that grandma would be ok .

Hi Minx, I suppose that was the last thing you wanted to here!!! How did things turn out? I think that in some cases it might be better to not know what is going to happen in the future. Thanks for sharing the story
